Men's Night
Starting May 3, 2006 at 6:30 PM

Men's Night, which was headed up by Darryl Lochrem was very successful. It is so nice for the club to have a dedicated personlike Darryl to arrange for the games and collect the money each Wednesday night.

The Mens Club Championship went to Boe Stone this year. We sent a strong team to Kananaskis, being Boe Stone, Al Thomas, Brett Marchant and Chis Melanson. They were humbled by the great Kidd Course at Kananaskis but they all agreed that it was an experience they will always remember and were proud to represent Forest Heights Golf Course.

Congrats goes out to Al Prous for being Iron Man for the 2004 season. By the way, Bart Hobson has 2 "Hole in Ones" this year. Way to go Bart!! Ted Bach had an Albatross on hole number 17. I was there and it was way toooooo exciting!

The Mens League also was a participant in the Inter Club. We sent six guys to Watervalley, Beaver Dam, and Collicutt. This year we came second. We just couldn't beat those Collicutt guys. This is fun and every member is invited to go and represent our club at one of the participating golf courses.

Mens night starts May 3th at 6:30. The dues last year were $30.00, so I'm sure it will be around the same amount.

Ladies Night

We had a great Ladies League which was run by Trudy Ufland who added a lot of her own personal qualities to the group. Some of the prizes were hand made by Trudy and she definitely has a lot of talent. We has 24 lady members. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the games.

Trudy worked very hard at making the games handicap friendly, so we could use our scores for the handicap program. Evelyn Johnson has 16 birdies on the course this year and was recognizes for her achievement.

Shauna Gallant is our new lasies president for the upcoming year and we welcome Shauna into this position.

Remember the Ladies Night will being May 4th at 6:30 PM. We welcome all the ladies to come and bring a friend. Our club ladies enjoyed playing in the Inter-Club. We had four ladies play at Airdrie, Olds, Carstairs and Forest Heights. We sadly came in last place this year, so we had to turn over the trophy to Airdrie. If the club ladies would like to play in the Inter-Club, just let the proshop know and you will be contacted as to the dates.

Couples Night
May 5, 2006 at 6:30 PM

Friday night is always a lot of fun. It is date night and if you need to get out with your better half and have some fun with other couples this is the night to do it.

We have a schedule of games we play which is posted on the board by the front door. Leslie always prepares a nice dinner for each couple to enjoy after their round of golf together. We play games like Scotch Two Ball, Four Person Texas Scramble, Work, Pink Tee, String and many more. This night is for fun.

This year we had a Mulligan on any shot you made throughout the couples night season. We pay 25 cents for each mulligan at the end of the everning and this year we collected $153.25. That is a lot of mulligans. The couples wanted the money to go to Sundre Minor Hockey which Forest Heights Golf Course matched during the Christmans Season, Forest Heights Golf Course presented the money to Sundre's Minor Hockey. Come out and Enjoy this evening with us at Forest Heights Golf Course. Bring another couple if you want. See you May 5th at 6:30 PM.
