          NOTE

We have adopted a “mercy rule” this year. Pick up after double par.

     Games       (Men’s Night)

STROKE PLAY: Record your score on every hole, maximum double par. Add up total gross score, subtract 9 hole handicap for net score. Low net wins. Show your paperwork!

MATCH PLAY: Declare who your match is against in your group. Record your score          on every hole, maximum double par. Whoever wins the most holes, wins the match! Lower handicap players must give strokes to even the match. Lowest handicap hole on the card is   the toughest hole and so on. Handicaps will be held by club captain, Garry Bratland.

LEFTY RIGHTY, STROKE PLAY: Same as stroke play to add up your score for the night but with another game in your group. Everyone tee’s off and the two balls on the left play total score against the two balls on the right. Play your own ball all the way. The low winning partners receive a “tick mark” by their score on that hole. Total the ticks for each player at the end of the round. Handicap strokes must be given!

ROYAL CANADIAN: Same as stroke play but we alternate red, white, and blue tee’s all the way around the course starting  from the red tee on  #1, white tee on #2, blue tee on #3, red tee on #4, white tee on #5, blue tee on #6, red tee on #7, white tee on #8, blue tee on #9, red tee on  #10, white tee on #11, blue tee on #12, red tee on #13, white tee on #14, blue tee on #15, red tee on #16, white tee on #17, and the blue tee on #18 depending on which 9 we’re playing. Handicap strokes must be given! The First Crowning on June 3rd. Hole in One prize is eligible only on the regular par 3’s.

3 CLUB NIGHT: Any 3 golf clubs may be selected for this event. Record your score on every hole, maximum double par. Add up total gross score, subtract, 9, hole handicap for net score. Low net wins. Show your paperwork!

STROKE PLAY, METAL CHALLENGE: Record your score on every hole, maximum double par. Add up total gross score, subtract 9 hole handicap for net score. Low Gross overall wins the METAL CHALLENGE! Low net wins in their group. Show your paperwork! The booby prizes a-wait! Black & Blue tees, tough but legal! (Not iron-man)

THE BRIER: “Curling on the golf course” Pick your LEAD, SECOND, THIRD, AND SKIP and golf in that order from first shot on the starting hole to your last shot at the end of the round. Stymies, ricochets, and in offs are allowed. You can never lift your ball after its in play on the hole. Furthest away goes first until holed out. Two or four, 4 man teams play in each group. Mark your ball so it can be identified.

PAR 27 150 IN DOUCE POT: Par 3 challenge on all the holes. Tee off from the 150 yard steak on par fours and fives, and the white tees on the par three’s. Record your score on every hole,  maximum double par. Add up total gross score, subtract 9, hole handicap for net score. Low net wins. Show your paperwork!

CORNERS 333: Partner, match play. Determine the partners for the first three holes by tossing all four balls together and the two closest balls are the first partners. Total score of the partners per hole determines winner of the hole. Circle winning holes. On the forth hole toss three balls and determine the next partnership. The two combinations that haven’t partnered yet, play the last three holes together. Handicaps are not used in corners.

LONG SHORT STROKE PLAY: Play the same way as “lefty, righty” except the partners are determined by the length of the drive. Long and short drives team up on each hole.

WOLF: Each player will alternate being the wolf. The order can be determined any way the group wants. The wolf watches all the tee shots. It is his decision to “CRY WOLF” and go it alone on the hole, or he can pick one partner to try and beat the best ball from the other two balls. If you win with a partner, receive one tick by your score. If you cry wolf and go it alone and win by beating all the other balls you win double, 6 ticks. If you loose with a partner, the other two balls win one tick. If you loose as the wolf you loose double ticks to the others. Make sure you keep your stroke play score!

IRON MAN: This is a traditional game we play once a year for the IRON MAN trophy. The greens are devilishly fast & the course set up as tough as possible. NO MERCY RULE!

TEXAS SCRAMBLE: 2 teams of four play in each group. Or in a two man scramble, 2,3, or4 groups of two play together. The team tee’s off, pick the best shot, the team plays the second shot, chose the best position, carry on until the ball is holed. Two drives must be used by each player. The game can be

played for skins, match play, or stroke play. TBA
